Indoor Pool at Hearst Castle

The Roman Pool at Hearst castle is a tiled indoor pool decorated with eight statues of Roman gods, goddesses and heroes. The mosaic tiled patterns were inspired by mosaics found in the 5th Century Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna, Italy.?Too bad that nobody go for a swim but at least the water is used to cool down the Computer room of Hearst Castle.?I was absent for a long time here and on every other Social Network but I’m planing to increase my activity in the future. I was missing all your input and the inspiration I get from your images! I want to thank everybody who stopped by my stream to leave a comment or just to take a look.
