Just checked my Google Docs account after being tipped off by Mr. Belshaw. Sure enough, Google has finally launched their Presentations application as part of Google Docs and Spreadsheets.
To access the presentation software, click on New in Google Docs. Okay, off to play!
I’ll be trying it tomorrow night for the first time for an in class session I have. And I did my first collaborative work with a colleague using it on Friday. We had a few minor issues, but she went from not knowing anything about Google beyond it being a a search engine to collaborativelt working with me on a presentation in about 10 minutes. Easy Peasy.
I’ve tried Google Presentations with a couple of classes and it’s gone down really well. Great for collaborative homeworks! 🙂
